Eric is a Registered Nurse specializing in substance use and mental health. He comes to psychedelic medicines with a strong understanding of harm reduction, relational and person-centred healing, cultural humility, trauma informed care, and profound respect for the relationship between people and medicines. Eric has completed the BC Centre on Substance Use Addictions Nursing Fellowship, where he first explored the healing potential of psychedelics for substance use disorders. He went on to lead group ketamine therapy with Roots to Thrive on Vancouver Island and facilitated and developed client screening with Numinus. Having seen and experienced healing in community, he continues to facilitate group medicine and integration. Eric has completed the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) MDMA Therapy theory training and the first cohort of Vancouver Island University’s Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Graduate Program.
